Different Types of Land in West Bengal

For owning a plot in West Bengal there are 2 steps:

1) REGISTRY OF THE LAND:

Registry of the Land is a must for owning a land and should be executed with a proper Registered Deed.

2) MUTATION OF LAND:

Mutation of Land is a process of Updating the Ownership records of a property in the Government's Land Revenue Departmentor Municipalty Records.It is required when a property is sold,gifted,inherited or exchanged.
